THOMASTON — The long-standing tradition of Watts Hall Community Players’ reading of Dylan Thomas’ “A Child’s Christmas in Wales” is back.

On Sunday, Dec. 17, at 3 p.m. in Watts Hall, 174 Main St., a large gathering of community readers of all ages will retell this heart-warming tale of Christmases gone by. Listeners’ Christmases will live again in the magic of Thomas’ poetic language while local band Playin’ Possum adds to the charm. This family event isn’t long but is filled with holiday spirit and will be followed by hot chocolate, sweets and some singing of carols.
