BELPRE, Ohio (WTAP) – Blessing Birds is a non-profit organization that has just recently been registered to help people with finances regarding school lunches, counseling and psychiatrist co-pays, adoption/foster fees and so much more.

“The reason Sarah wanted to start Blessing Birds was because she wanted to bring funds to the community where they are usually lacking, she wanted to be a help. And we just wanted to bring it to the area. We feel it is important because some people do not go get help because they do not have the insurance.” said Lauren Allen, Vice President of Blessing Birds.

Getting the word out is important to them because they recognize there are not a lot of resources and they want to relieve some of the financial burden.

“This is important because there is not a lot of help out there for mental health. We need to help people and provide assistance because there is just not a lot of resources” said Allen.

All funds being donated to the non-profit will go towards mental health help in the area.

“Get ahold me me via Facebook, or text message, or calling. Any help is appreciated and we will get it to the correct, all funds go to mental health in the area.” says Allen.
