ORLEANS – The Orleans Fire Department once again hosted the annual Santa parade. As in years past, upwards of 100 people of all ages registered for the parade through the village. The parade started at 11 a.m. on Sunday, winding its way through the village and back to the fire station.
Inside the fire house, tables were set up for cookie decorating, face painting, letters to Santa, and a place to make ornaments. Mr. and Mrs. Claus led the parade from the top of a fire truck.
Proceeds from the event are donated to the Mary “Halo” Wright foundation in support of families who have a member battling cancer.
