Netflix has stated that Galder Gaztelu-Urrutia’s movie The Platform will get a follow-up.

The Platform is a Spanish horror movie with a strange story. The story is about a vertical jail where the food goes from the top elevator to the bottom elevator, leaving the prisoners on the lower floors with the food that didn’t get to the top elevator.

Netflix told people about the exciting news through its Twitter account. The Platform 2 is coming back with a whole new group to make people laugh.

Hoik Keuchkerian from “The Night Manager” and Milena Smit from “Tina and Tina” will be in the scary movie this time.

No official release date has been set yet, but work on The Platform 2 has begun, which means that the movie should be out soon.

As soon as fans heard that there would be a sequel, they rushed to the comments part to say how they felt. “Part one was great! Looking forward to the sequel! However, I won’t watch it nearly as stoned as I was when watching part one,” one fan wrote.

“This is the movie I’ve been waiting for,” said a second fan. “In my opinion, the platform can even become a series and has many stories to present!”

Pinkvilla says that some fans were sad to hear that there would be a second part to The Platform. “The ending was SOOO BAD I don’t even know if I want to watch a sequel,” said someone on social media.
