A ‘Sports Makeover’ for Matthew Perry at a Nike Store

Last week, Matthew Perry went to a Nike shop to get a complete makeover.

The Friends star was seen going around the Los Angeles mall “The Grove” wearing blue sweatpants with holes in them and a grey long-sleeved shirt.

He also had on sunglasses and a backwards red baseball cap.

But Perry left the store quickly with a brand-new outfit on.

The Whole Nine Yards star was seen leaving in a black Nike polo shirt and shorts that matched.

Perry, 54, did decide to keep the black Nike shoes and baseball cap he was wearing when he arrived, though.

The author of Friends, Lovers, and the Big Terrible Thing’s helper quickly followed behind with a Nike bag that probably held Perry’s old clothes.

Perry has kept a low profile ever since his shocking book came out in November 2022.

In the open book, he talked about how hard it was for him to fight his drug addiction. There was a time when he had to take 55 Vicodin pills and a quart of vodka just to get through the day.

Perry has a history of using opiates. In a 2019 article about his problems, he wrote about his struggles with treatment staff who didn’t want to give him drugs because they thought he was making up his pain.

Around the time that his book came out, Perry told People that he had stopped using opioids and was using Suboxone, a drug that helps ease the effects of opiate withdrawal. Perry wouldn’t say, though, that he was totally clean.
