A$AP Rocky Apologizes to Trampled Fan Before 2023 Met Gala Entrance

A$AP Rocky and Rihanna made a big entry at the Met Gala in 2023, but the rapper got in trouble when he accidentally hurt a fan before he went on stage.

On May 1, the rapper was caught on camera jumping over a fence set up in front of the Carlyle Hotel. Rocky didn’t walk into the hotel through the front door like the other famous people. Instead, he got stuck behind the barrier.

Fans had gathered there to see if they could spot their favorite stars as they left for the yearly fashion show.

In the video, the Fashion Killa rapper tried to fit in with the crowd by wearing a black hoodie and sunglasses. He put his hand on Madelyn Llanes, a 21-year-old from Long Island, New York, for balance as he attempted to leap over the barrier.

When Rocky got to the other side of the barrier, he took off his hoodie, making the crowd scream joyfully.

After the incident, Llanes posted a picture of herself with broken glasses and wrote, “ASAP Rocky just literally jumped over me.”

She tweeted more information, saying that the rapper “tapped my shoulder and was like ‘sweetheart, I need to get through, and I went ‘no,’ and then he just shoved.”

After she sent the tweets, A$AP told her, “LOL, MY FAULT $WEETHEART,” and then he followed her @youareasapmad account.

The rapper made a second appearance on the Met Gala red carpet that evening with Rihanna, this time wearing a suit with a kilt and dazzling jeans. Rihanna, on the other hand, looked amazing in an all-white Valentino outfit.
