
Acadiana Center for the Arts is calling on local businesses and community partners to help bring three Student Arts Expos to life in 2025. These art-centric events showcase the creativity and talent of young artists from across the region while fostering a deeper appreciation for the arts in our community.
These expos, held in partnership with local school systems, celebrate the artistic achievements of students from pre-K to 12th grade through visual arts, live performances, and hands-on activities.
Saturday, March 15, 2025, Downtown Lafayette
A vibrant festival featuring 3 stages of student performances, 30 exhibition locations, and over 2,000 student artists, this event attracts more than 6,000 attendees. It features many day-long street activities, including a marching Art Parade, Art in Action live painting demonstrations, hands-on art Activities for All, the Student Artist Market, and new this year Dance! Dance!, an interactive dance activity.
Saturday, March 29, 2025, Downtown Opelousas
Returning for its third year, this Opelousas-based festival features 2 stages of student performances and multiple exhibition sites, drawing over 1,000 visitors. Attendees enjoy live performances, painting demonstrations, and hands-on arts experiences.
Saturday, April 12, 2025, Downtown Abbeville
Debuting in Downtown Abbeville, this inaugural event is expected to draw thousands. With 2 stages of student performances, exhibition areas, and interactive art activities, it will celebrate Vermilion Parish’s talented young artists.
