CALL FOR ENTRY: “ACTION:REACTION” ONLINE PHOTO EXHIBITION​

We are excited to announce our upcoming photo exhibition with the theme “ACTION:REACTION.” We are seeking photographic works that capture the dynamic interplay between action and reaction in our world.

Photographers are invited to submit images that explore the cause-and-effect relationships, the moments of impact, and the chain reactions that shape our lives and environment. Whether it’s a split-second reaction to a decisive action or a series of events unfolding over time, we want to see your visual interpretations of this theme.​

Submission Guidelines:
– Open to all photographers, amateur and professional, over the age of 18.
– Submit up to 5 high-resolution images in digital format.
– Images should be in JPEG format, longest side at least 2000 pixels.
– Submission deadline: March 15, 2024
– There is a submission fee of $35 per entry, for up to five photographs.

Selected works will be featured in an online curated exhibition on our gallery’s website, providing a platform for photographers to showcase their interpretations of “ACTION:REACTION” to a wide audience.

– Notification of Acceptance: April 1, 2024

– Exhibition Dates: April 1, 2024 – May 31, 2024

Selection Process:

A panel of judges, comprising experienced photographers and art professionals, will carefully review all submissions. The selection will be based on artistic merit, technical proficiency, originality, and adherence to the theme. Selected photographers will be notified via email by April 1, 2024.

Exhibition and Recognition:

The chosen photographs will be showcased in a dedicated online exhibition on our gallery’s website, providing a platform for photographers to share their work with a wider audience. Additionally, selected artists will receive recognition through our  social media channels and promotional materials. A short video of the exhibit will be posted to our YouTube channel, and an exhibition catalogue will be made available for sale.​

• A cash award of $200 and one copy of the exhibition catalogue will be given to the First Place entry and the photographer will be offered a free gallery in the FEATURED section of the website. This winning entry will also be promoted on social media. 

• The Second Place entry will be given a cash award of $100 and one copy of the exhibition catalogue and promotion on social media.

• The Third Place entry will be given a cash award of $50 and will be promoted on social media.
