According to Page Six, the 40-year-old actor and his wife, Joanne Tucker, quietly welcomed a baby girl this year.
According to the publication, the Star Wars star revealed the news while practicing his opening monologue for this weekend’s Saturday Night Live – his fourth time hosting the show.
“Last year, I asked for a baby girl, and I got it, which is exhausting,” Driver said during his canceled rehearsal monologue. “So this year, I wish for Ambien!”
The newest member of Driver’s family is their second child, whom they discreetly welcomed in 2016. Similarly to his most recent declaration, the Marriage Story star declared that he was “a father” while hosting SNL in 2020.
Driver and Tucker are notoriously cautious about their personal life, thus the names, photos, and exact dates of birth of their two children are unknown and will likely remain so.
However, Page Six revealed in February that the couple, who met in high school and married in 2013, were expecting their second child.
They were pictured carrying a baby reclining bather while the Listen Up Philip actress, 41, rocked a visible baby bulge at the time.
