Adam Sandler, in Des Moines on Monday for his comedy show at Wells Fargo Arena, snuck over to Drake University for a quick workout at the Shivers Basketball Practice Facility. Sandler, a former Saturday Night Live cast member who’s starred in dozens of classic comedies, including “Happy Gilmore,” “Big Daddy,” and “Grown Ups,” is known to find a game of basketball anywhere he goes. He got some shots up before stopping to get a few photos with the men’s basketball team as their practice was wrapping up.
