Adele apparently announced her marriage to Rich Paul while attending Alan Carr’s recent gig in Los Angeles.
As the Easy on Me singer, 35, acknowledged her relationship status with the sports agent, 41, word spread that the two had signed a prenuptial agreement.
Friends “convinced” the Grammy-winning performer that she should secure her $220 million inheritance before marrying Paul.
“Adele has a few trust issues, which is normal for her, but bringing up a marital contract caused some friction between them,” a source revealed to the National Enquirer.
“She believes in love, and she says talking about anything to do with money is a sure-fire romance killer. She was right,” the source stated, adding that the prenup was a “sensitive subject.”
According to spectators at Carr’s event, when the comic inquired if anyone had just married, Adele exclaimed, “I did,” according to the Daily Mail.
The couple first stirred relationship rumors when they attended a basketball game together in July 2021.
They became Instagram Official in September, when the Someone Like You singer posted photos from NBA star Anthony Davis and Marlen P’s wedding in Los Angeles, which they attended.
