Adele Has No Imminent Plans for Her Second Album in the Foreseeable Future

Adele has officially revealed plans to embark on another global tour following the publication of her new album.

However, the 35-year-old singer made it obvious that the tour would not be occurring soon. Earlier this month, Adele teased a comeback to touring during a gig, much to the delight of her fans.

Her residency, Weekends With Adele, at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace is set to finish in June 2024, freeing up her calendar for future ideas.

Adele emphasised her intention to tour with her next album during a recent Saturday performance, but she also admitted that she does not plan to concentrate on the new record anytime soon.

Adele’s most recent album, 30, debuted in 2021 and gained widespread sales and critical success. It won British Album of the Year at the 2022 Brit Awards and became the best-selling album of the year.

When asked about the next one, Adele acknowledged, ‘I just don’t think I’m gonna create an album for quite some time.

However, she promised the audience, ‘But the next time I do, I’ll come to wherever you live.’

It comes after Adele wrote an emotional Instagram post about her final gigs in Vegas, which raised supporters’ expectations that she might return to tour.

Adele commented on how she ‘fallen out of love’ with performing and how the gigs have since ‘changed [her] life’.

‘It’s just made me realize how much I really enjoy being on stage, that I’m bloody good at it and that it is 100% where I belong!’ Adele wrote.
