After an Unsuccessful Collaboration, Gap Is Now Suing Kanye West for $2 Million

A new story from TMZ says that Gap is suing Kanye West for more than $2 million because the troubled rapper broke up with the company in September.

According to court records, Gap was sued last year by a company called Art City Center. Art City Center owns a building in Los Angeles that Gap rented as a storefront for its Yeezy line, which was made in collaboration with West. Art City Center says that Gap changed the property so that it would be ready for the Yeezy store. Now, they want the clothes brand to pay them to fix it up. Since West dropped out of the relationship, Gap is trying to get him to pay the bill instead. The $2 million would cover what Gap would owe for the storefront and a little extra for legal fees.
