The hit ’90s pop band NSYNC returned at the MTV VMAs 2023 on Tuesday, which made millennials feel nostalgic.
Twenty years ago, NSYNC won the Best Pop award for Bye Bye Bye. Because of this, they were asked to give the award to Taylor Swift, who won for Anti-Hero.
And, like the singer of “Cruel Summer,” many fans began to wonder if a tour might be in the works. But it doesn’t look like that’s the case.
Page Six found out from sources that NSYNC is not going on tour, but Justin Timberlake is.
A music insider told the outlet, “Justin is coming out with a new album, so he’s planning a big US tour for 2024.”
After Timberlake, JC Chasez, Lance Bass, Joey Fatone, and Chris Kirkpatrick got back together on Tuesday night, Swift was clearly starstruck as she gushed over her pop heroes.
She even asked them questions like, “Like, are you doing something? What’s going to happen now … They’re going to do something and I need to know what it is!”
Just 24 hours after their performance at the VMAs, the band revealed that a new song called “Better Place” would be coming out on September 29.
The song will also be in the new DreamWorks Animation movie Trolls Band Together, which is coming out soon.
The most famous thing about NSYNC is that they performed at the 2013 Video Music Awards and will get a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2018.
Even though the band kept the song a secret for months, the leader of Mirrors may bring the band back together on his tour.
