After all, And Just Like That producers are no stranger to tricking fans when shooting on location. During filming for Season 1, Chris Noth was photographed in character as Mr. Big attending a funeral with the rest of the cast.

As fans will know, the funeral turned out to be for Mr. Big after he was killed off in the show’s very first episode — a move that left viewers stunned at the time. 

So, with this in mind, it is just as likely that this funeral is for somebody who is literally pictured in the shot as it is for an axed character. And, in a similar vein, it may not even be a funeral.
