The AGC of Western Kentucky Outstanding Tech Student for the week of January 15th-19th is Micah Koenecke. Micah is a senior Automotive student at the Murray-Calloway Area Tech Center. He was nominated by his instructor, Mitchell McNutt for his great work ethic and knowledge of the automotive field. He has worked at Miller Memorial Golf Course, Cain’s Auto Auction and now at Kentucky Lake Boat Works through the school’s co-op program. Micah has been very successful in Skills USA placing second in the state in Automotive Technology. He also holds ASE certifications. The Associated General Contractors and member sponsors are proud to recognize students like Micah, who are preparing themselves for a career in the trades.
