Several high profile shows and media, like “What Jennifer Did” on Netflix, have already been accused of using AI. Now, some people are upset when considering if producers weren’t transparent about it being used in the show.
One of the biggest arguments from audiences is that using AI in a documentary distorts what is supposed to be an otherwise historical record.

When it’s used in movies, the argument against it is it takes jobs away from artists, as well as the human element that makes film special for many people.
Now, both fans and filmmakers are calling on Hollywood to disclose and label AI when it’s used in a show or movie. But experts say its not that simple, since AI generated content can’t exist without at least some human input and can then be harder to catch.
