
SEATTLE, Wash.-Flyers in the Northwest may have a surprisingly easy time leaving for vacation or returning home this Memorial Day Weekend, according to a recent air travel consumer report.
JW Surety Bonds, a national insurance provider, analyzed data from the Department of Transportation’s Air Travel Consumer Report to identify the best and worst airlines and airports.
According to JWSB’s analysis, Seattle-Tacoma International has the second best Memorial Day on-time departure percentage with 86 percent of all flights taking off on time.
Flights scheduled between 6 a.m. and 7 a.m. reportedly have the highest on-time departure performance nationwide, with percentages reaching as high as 94 percent.
Hawaiian, Alaska and Delta are the best airlines to fly over Memorial Day weekend, according to JWSB.
