CCOTY Selection Process Considers Entire Market

The CCOTY program evaluates all vehicles on sale during the model year, similar to how consumers compare car options. The process begins with 20 semi-finalists, narrowed to three finalists per category before announcing the winners. This format allows models to earn repeat victories if they continue to lead their segments.
