Alabama basketball looks to score a victory over Mercer in the fourth game of the season for the Crimson Tide.
The Alabama offense has been off to a flaming hot start, scoring 100 points in each of the first three games for the first time since 1956-57. Alabama (3-0) will look to put together another solid defensive performance against Mercer too after the Crimson Tide had its first strong defensive showing earlier in the week over South Alabama.
Alabama coach Nate Oats had challenged some players to perform better defensively ahead of the South Alabama game. Many answered his challenge, now Oats wants the team to continue that and build on it against the Bears on Friday.
