Alcohol believed to be a factor after woman crashes car into Jennings County garage


LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A woman crashed her car into a garage on Wednesday night.

The crash occurred in Jennings County in Indiana, about an hour north of Louisville.

According to the Jennings County Sheriff’s Office, the call came around 6 p.m. at the intersection of State Road 3 South and County Road 400 South.

After arriving on the scene, officials found a blue passenger car that had ran into a garage.

Wanda Ostrom, 75, was still inside the vehicle. She was transported to a local hospital and is expected to be okay.

Police say alcohol is believed to be a factor.

They are still investigating, and charges are possible.
