Ali Wong has filed for divorce from her spouse Justin Hakuta over two years after their split.
The actress and comedian cited ‘irreconcilable differences’ as the reason for their divorce in paperwork obtained by TMZ on Saturday, December 23.
She also asked for shared legal and physical custody of their two kids, Mari, 8, and Nikki, 6, as well as the enforcement of their pre-nuptial agreement.
The couple is currently in mediation to divide their assets, according to the site. The specifics of any spousal and/or child support are also decided during the sessions.
After eight years of marriage, Wong and Hakuta divorced in April 2022.
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter earlier this year, the Beef actor commented on her pleasant post-divorce relationship with the former Good Rx VP, saying they are still “really, really close.”
“We’ve been through so much together. It’s a very unconventional divorce,” she explained.
Following her divorce from Hakuta, the stand-up comedian began dating Bill Hader in 2022, but they reportedly split up two months later.
The twosome reconnected in April 2023 and have been going strong ever since.
