On Saturday, March 23, Nordhoff Music Department students and their director, Bill Wagner (far right), gather for the awards ceremony at the Polynesian Cultural Center in Laie, Hawaii.
Sixty-one students from the Nordhoff Music Department, led by director Bill Wagner, traveled to Hawaii in March to compete in an annual music festival, and were well-rewarded for their efforts.
The WorldStrides Music Festival was held in Honolulu on Friday, March 22, and resulted in performances by four groups earning multiple awards, including gold ratings for the Chamber Choir, Jazz Band and Symphonic Band, and a silver rating for the String Orchestra.
