Alphabet, Flutter Entertainment, Nu Holdings: After-hours movers


 

There are a number of stocks moving in after-hours trading. One of the big movers is Google-parent Alphabet (GOOG, GOOGL). Bloomberg is reporting the US Justice Department is considering breaking up Google after a federal court determined the tech giant has a monopoly in online search. Other possible remedies include having Google share or license some if its data with rivals.

Shares of Flutter Entertainment (FLUT) were soaring after reporting second quarter results that topped Street expectations on both the top and bottom lines.

Nu Holdings (NU) shares were also on the rise after reporting better-than-expected second quarter earnings, with net income more than doubling from a year ago.
