Amanda Bynes Shows Off Big Changes to Her Look After Getting Treatment in a Hospital

Amanda Bynes was seen out and about, and her famous heart-shaped tattoo on her face looked noticeably lighter.

The Nickelodeon star, who is 37 years old, started getting her tattoos removed about a year ago. She was caught in Los Angeles more than a month after going to a treatment center in Orange County.

Bynes made her first public showing about two weeks after she moved into the inpatient treatment facility.

Along with her face tattoo getting lighter, the She’s the Man star’s hair and eyebrows were dyed golden blonde, which made her look very different.

Since 2019, the former child star had a simple heart tattoo on the right side of her cheek.

But at the beginning of 2022, a few weeks before her custody hearing, the Easy A actress said that she had started the process to get rid of the tattoo.

Now, a year later, it looks like the tattoo removal, which usually takes two years and 10–12 sessions, is on track. Where there used to be an image of an uneven heart, there is now just a shadow of the tattoo.

After having a “psychotic episode” in March of this year, the Love Wrecked star went to a different outpatient treatment center for help. But she later signed up for a more intense inpatient treatment program to get away from being alone.

TMZ sources said that Bynes has moved on from her first group at the center and is now in a group with less supervision. This means that she can go on planned trips around town.
