Amway’s XS Energy and Sports Nutrition Brand Extends Support for 52 SUPER SERIES in the USA in 2024

The world’s leading grand prix monohull sailing competition celebrates six years of partnership with the XSNation community

The 52 SUPER SERIES, the world’s leading grand prix monohull circuit, today announced it will benefit from the added support of Amway’s XS Energy and Sports Nutrition brand when the sailing competition heads for the USA in 2024. The XSNation community has supported the sailing competition since 2017.

“We are very excited to be preparing to welcome our friends from XS and their guests to Newport and appreciate their continued support in 2024. They bring a whole different, complementary dynamic and level of excitement to our regattas.”

Enthuses Agustin Zulueta, CEO of the 52 SUPER SERIES.

Amway, an entrepreneur-led health and wellness company, acquired the XS brand of energy and sports nutrition products in 2015.

“Amway’s XS brand of energy and sports nutrition products supports the potential of anyone looking to improve their health and wellbeing to achieve their fullest potential. The XS community is proud to support the 52 SUPER SERIES and the athletes who have trained year-round for this one-of-a-kind sailing adventure.”

Said Amway XS Brand Director Calvin Tsai.

The first of two regattas to be on the historic America’s Cup racing waters off Newport Rhode Island, becomes the XS 52 SUPER SERIES Newport Trophy regatta, which will take place from June 10-16 2024 at the prestigious clubhouse of the NYYC in Newport/RI.

The increased activation by XS and the 52 SUPER SERIES, which has been partnered with the 52 SUPER SERIES since 2017, for the coming season reflects the mutual satisfaction with a very successful and dynamic 2023, where the circuit hosted special XS guests in Menorca and Puerto Portals, Mallorca as well as delivering a significantly increased range of unique promotions and initiatives over the course of the five regatta season.

And for a number of years now XS and the 52 SUPER SERIES have brought high level important invited guests to the season’s pinnacle events to enjoy a few days – and evenings – behind the curtain in the world of the grand prix TP52 racing. XS business owners enjoy unique moments on the water and off, seeing the highly competitive racing up close and personal, experiencing the excitement and emotions of the ‘pit lane’ atmosphere whilst sharing special times with fellow, like- minded guests and business owners.

For XS the opportunity to host American guests in one of the most historic, prestigious yachting centres in the world represents a great opportunity, whilst the activation brings an additional young, vibrant dynamic to the events.

About 52 Super Series
The 52 SUPER SERIES was established in 2012 and quickly became renowned as the world’s leading grand prix monohull yacht racing circuit.

Originally the circuit grew from the ashes of the TP52 MedCup which finished in 2011 when the principal sponsor withdrew. The 52 SUPER SERIES was developed as an initiative by three key stakeholders, respectively the owners of Quantum Racing, Azzurra and Rán Racing who enjoyed their racing in the TP52 so much, and could see a future in which the owners dictated the direction of the 52 SUPER SERIES; embracing all that they had enjoyed about the class and making racing for like-minded individuals and crews available in locations and venues enjoyed by all. Now the circuit usually consists of five regattas per season in Europe with regular early year events in the USA.
