Anne Hathaway might have played a bumbling fashion intern in The Devil Wears Prada, but in real life, she’s a fashion industry darling.
The Oscar winner hosted the 2023 CFDA Fashion Awards on Monday in New York City wearing a hot off the runway look from the Ralph Lauren spring/summer 2024 runway.
The daring two-piece outfit featured a denim corset and long floor-sweeping denim skirt featuring a watercolor floral print in blue hues. She topped off the look with dazzling Bulgari jewels, fitting as she’s an ambassador for the brand.
Hathaway has made waves in the fashion industry in recent years, thanks to a “fashion renaissance” that catapulted her onto best-dressed lists everywhere. The actress credits her stylist, Erin Walsh, for often helping her take the “right risk.”
The pair have executed iconic looks, from a fresh-off-the-runway Versace gown at this years Albies to a head-to-toe leopard ensemble on a date night in January.
The actress and UN Women Goodwill Ambassador sat down with PEOPLE earlier this year, dishing on how Walsh has made her “braver” when it comes to fashion.
“In this moment, everybody’s taking risks and I feel like there’s more than one way to do it right now, which means that you don’t have to hit a mark, you just have to be yourself — and that feels wonderful,” Hathaway said.

The actress has also credited Gen-Z for inspiring a fun-loving approach to fashion.
“We don’t take it too seriously,” Hathaway said about her work with Walsh. “This isn’t a dress rehearsal; this is life.”
In addition to hosting the awards ceremony, Hathaway presented the American womenswear designer of the year award, alongside designer Narciso Rodriguez.
Hathaway took on the hosting duties after Sarah Jessica Parker, who originally planned to host the awards ceremony, had to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances.
