Five minutes before Tuesday’s broadcast of Tucker Carlson @AnonOpsSE, a Twitter account controlled by members of the loose hacktivist movement, Anonymous attempted to take credit for hacking the host’s Twitter account before tonight’s Fox News show. One wrote, “Tucker Carlson @TuckerCarson, you’ve been #hacked.” A screenshot of the Fox News personality’s altered Twitter bio included, which stated “Non-binary climate change activist of color. Visionary tech founder. CNBC market analyst. Informal advisor to Zelensky,” followed by two transgender pride emojis. The Daily Beast could not independently authenticate the account’s assertion. A spokesman for Fox News did not immediately reply to an after-hours request for comment. The modified bio stayed available an hour after @AnonOpsSE’s tweet.
