ANTIGO, WI – Antigo Visual Arts (AVA) has launched the 2025 Downtown Art Scavenger Hunt, running from June 1 through August 14. This interactive event celebrates local artists and the charm of Antigo’s downtown area.

Community members and visitors can explore 32 original artworks inspired by Wisconsin’s natural beauty. The pieces are displayed across a five-block area, with additional sites just off 5th Avenue.

Marie Benes, AVA member and project lead, said, “This project brings together our vibrant art community and our charming downtown in a fun, interactive way.”

Entry forms must be submitted by August 14 for a chance to win Chamber Gift Certificates. Prizes total $500, with first place receiving $250. For information on how to participate, you can visit the Antigo Visual Arts website HERE.

Prizes include:

– First Place: $250

– Second Place: $100

– Third Place: $100

– Fourth Place: $50

Winners will be announced on August 16 at the Downtown Car Show, where a silent auction will also be held, featuring select scavenger hunt artwork submissions.

In addition, participants are also encouraged to vote four their favorite artwork. The artists whose pieces receive the most votes will also receive Chamber gift certificates as prizes.
