In a statement, it says that in recent weeks an application for watching TV and archive content for all common internet browsers has been put into operation.Thanks to the latest change, even more features are now available to viewers watching the broadcast across all desktop operating systems from Windows to macOS to Linux. In addition to watching TV, AntikTV applications allow playing archive programmes, listening to radio stations or watching online cameras.

According to Attila Pósa, executive director at Antik, “We deployed the new user interface for browsers after long-term testing of various paths in a possible design. The new environment is adapted to the needs of the modern viewer, but at the same time, more conservative clients will also find a quick way to navigate.

“It is the ease of control for such a mass-distributed product as television that represents one of the biggest challenges in any innovation. I believe that we succeeded this time as well, and all viewers will have even better entertainment from our modern TV”.

Antik Telecom says it was the first company that started experimenting with broadcasting television over internet networks more than 15 years ago. The first services were intended for ordinary computers and users of the then new mobile brand – Apple iPhone. After dozens of innovations and expansions, it is now possible to watch television on all popular smart TV brands such as Samsung, LG, Hisense, Sony and other popular Antik set-top boxes, Android STB or Apple TV, mobile phones with Apple, Android and Huawei and from now on almost any computer with Google Chrome, Opera or Microsoft Edge or even MacOS. The platforms for Android TV and Apple TV are also undergoing an upgrade. The entire AntikTV environment was developed in Slovakia by the company’s developers and today it is used by dozens of telecommunication operators on all continents.
