The Cannes Film Festival red carpet has had an extra dose of sparkle this year, as celebrities are accessorizing with lavish jewels to complement their high-fashion looks.
The likes of Anya Taylor-Joy, Greta Gerwig, Taylor Hill, Lily Gladstone and other stars have walked the Cannes Film Festival red carpet in jewelry from brands like Chopard, Tiffany & Co., Messika and more.
As Chopard is the official sponsor of the Cannes Film Festival 2024, the fine jeweler has already dressed an array of stars for the red carpet.
Gerwig, who is this year’s jury president, dazzled on the red carpet for the premiere of “Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga” pairing her custom Armani Privé red gown with Chopard jewels. The “Barbie” director wore pieces from the fine jeweler’s Haute Joaillerie collection, including an 18-karat white gold necklace featuring 108.9 carats of diamonds, an 18-karat white gold bracelet featuring 35.3 carats of diamonds and an 18-karat white gold ring featuring 10 carats of diamonds.
Taylor-Joy, a Tiffany & Co. ambassador and the film’s star, also attended its premiere, wearing pieces from the American jeweler. The actress paired her custom Dior sequin-embellished gown with a curved, platinum necklace designed with over 68 carats of diamonds, 18-karat white gold earrings with over 17 carats of diamonds and a platinum ring with over 15 carats of diamonds.
Fine jeweler Messika also had a standout moment at the Cannes Film Festival on Hill. The model attended the premiere of “The Second Act” wearing pieces from Messika’s Beyond the Light High Jewelry collection, including the Imperial Move necklace.
