BLAIR COUNTY, Pa (WJAC) — Area high school automotive technology and collision repair students from eight counties competed Tuesday in Blair County.
Participants were part of the 2025 Skills USA Pennsylvania Division 7 competition.
Events students were testing in include skills in auto body damage assessment and repair cost estimation, auto body repair, auto body finishing, as well as automotive maintenance technology.
The students were then judged by Stuckey Automotive master technicians.
“Just to see their skills shine, it’s really neat. You work with them in your program for three or four years, sometimes. Then they come out here and they get to compete against students who are doing the same thing, it’s just neat to see it all come together.”
The winners then were awarded at the Blair County Convention Center, as they will go on to the state competition.
If they win there, then they will go on to nationals.
