Ariana Grande commemorated the tenth anniversary of her breakthrough single The Way, which she recorded with her late ex-boyfriend, rapper Mac Miller.
On Instagram, the 29-year-old singer of Positions penned a touching tribute to the late rapper.
On Saturday, Ariana posted a brief but heartfelt message on Instagram. She posted a clip from the music video with a caption that appeared to be directed at both Miller and her fans.
The Santa Tell Me singer wrote “I love you” in tiny white font beneath the throwback footage on the post on her Instagram stories.
The relationship between Ariana and Mac lasted from September 2016 to May 2018. After publicly announcing their breakup, the 7 Rings singer commented on their relationship.
A few months after their separation, Mac died tragically at the age of 26. Also, at the time, Ariana paid tribute to him, and it is widely believed that her 2019 song ghostin is about the deceased actor.
On the professional front, Ariana has recently worked with The Weeknd on the song I Heard You’re Married.
