Armada Nutrition, a nutritional-powder contract manufacturer created by ingredients distributor Prinova (Itasca, IL) in 2015, announced it is changing its name to Prinova Nagase Group to better align with the global Prinova brand and to emphasize Prinova’s vertical manufacturing capabilities. The change will take effect on January 1, 2024, across all three of Armada’s manufacturing sites in Spring Hill, TN; Salt Lake City, UT; and Aylesford, UK.
“The name change will incorporate contract manufacturing of nutritional powders added to the capabilities marketed under the Prinova brand globally, alongside ingredient distribution, premix manufacturing, and flavor manufacturing,” the firm’s press release states.
By adding the Prinova name, the companies say they aim to underline the additional services Prinova provides to its clients. “It’s the market intelligence on ingredients that really sets us apart for many customers,” said Dan Force, vice president of marketing and innovation, Prinova, in a press release. “That, coupled with the services Prinova offers across multiple end-use-market forms.”
The company adds that it is helped numerous nutrition powder brands launch into the carbonated-beverage market “by providing a unique combination of product development, premix manufacturing, and flavor manufacturing.” The firm says it helps customers achieve lean and efficient toll manufacturing and “complete control of their raw materials.”
