Poster artists needed for ¡ARTE VIVA!
¡ARTE VIVA!, presented by the Naples, Marco Island, Everglades Convention and Visitors Bureau, announces its first Call to Artists to develop a poster for the 2025- 2026 season of ¡ARTE VIVA! Applications are being accepted until noon on March 14.
“Arte Viva celebrates Hispanic arts and culture for residents and visitors,” said John Melleky, the arts and culture manager of Naples, Marco Island, Everglades CVB. “The creation of a commemorative poster for the event further enhances the activities associated with ¡ARTE VIVA! It will also serve as a vehicle to expand awareness of the variety of cultural offerings in Florida’s Paradise Coast. Recognizing the work of one of our local artists of Hispanic origin will create closer bonds within our community.”
The poster artist must be of Hispanic origin and 18 years or older. They must also live in Collier County, have a studio or business here or be part of a cooperative or association that operates a business or gallery in the county.
The poster should celebrate Hispanic culture and various arts activities in Florida’s Paradise Coast. It will be used to advertise and promote the 2025-2026 season of ¡ARTE VIVA!. Additional merchandise could be developed utilizing aspects of the poster.
Full details of the Call to Artists, including poster size, artist eligibility, selection process and artist honorarium, along with the artist application, can be found at www. paradisecoast.com/article/2025-2026-arte viva-poster-call-artists.
