Through two lenses, a Bronica medium format camera and a Zodiac toy camera with scratched plastic, he documents roadside memorials of the Pacific Northwest’s rural backroads.

Villiers hopes the exhibit encourages visitors to stop, look closely and think about the people and stories behind each photograph.

“Around the Next Bend” is on view at the library through Jan. 7, before moving to The Seattle Light Room starting Feb. 6.

TigerLily Gallery, 613 Broadway

Cannon Beach artist Scott C. Johnson will be showing landscape studies rooted in plein air painting techniques.
