The goal of these articles is to inform the public about the many unique visual arts in Florence, and the many stories they have to tell.

 A strange thing happened to me when I was walking past the Siuslaw Public Library. A voice called out to me.  A gentle voice said, “Hey you! Over here!” The voice was coming from a sculpture of a woman.  Now you may be thinking that I would be a good candidate for the Florence Public Health Services. The sculpture was not verbally talking, but was using a visual voice.
