Learn about how artificial intelligence (AI) is making waves throughout all areas of society on Sunday, Nov. 12 as a Plugged In team of volunteers discuss AI and related challenges.

The program will start at 11 a.m. at the Shanna & Bryan Glazer JCC, 522 N. Howard Ave., Tampa.

Plugged-In is a program offered by the Tampa JCCs & Federation where tech-savvy volunteers, led by Aaron Lynn, provide instructions to community members who have tech challenges with their computers, phones, tablets, etc.

One Sunday each month, the Plugged-In volunteers lead a free workshop. The program is held at the Shanna & Bryan Glazer JCC and via Zoom. The first half of each hour-long program focuses on a specific topic; the remaining time is dedicated to one-on-one technical support.

“The connection is gratifying to both sides of the experience,” said Pnina Levermore, Active Adults director for JCCs & Federation.

Plugged In is currently recruiting volunteers and new attendees are always welcome. To become a volunteer or for more information about the program, contact Levermore at [email protected] or (813) 291-2253.
