QUINCY (WGEM) -The downtown Quincy area has seen a ton of renovations recently, and is looking to add more attractions nearby.

The Quincy Public Arts Commission is looking to begin work on a new mural on the 6th Street Promenade.

The art commission issued their “call for artists,” which seeks proposals from experienced visual artist local and beyond.

“The commission welcomes all visual creatives with experience in visual art as well as locals and want all to come with their own artistic vision, as there are no predetermined designs,” said Maggie Strong, Quincy Public Arts Commission Chair .
