
GRAND RAPIDS, MI — ArtPrize, the region’s biggest interactive art competition, is announcing its 2025 return.
ArtPrize 15’s visual identity will be unveiled at the Grand Rapids Art Museum on Thursday, April 3, setting the stage for another year of creativity and inspiration.

This week’s free kickoff event will bring together artists, venues, and the public to hear about what’s in store this season. It will feature live entertainment and a cash bar.
“Don’t miss this exclusive first look at the 2025 branding and your chance to get this year’s festival poster,” the ArtPrize website states.
This year marks the third time ArtPrize is being held under a new leadership team. The team consists of Downtown Grand Rapids Inc., the city of Grand Rapids, and Kendall College of Art and Design of Ferris State University.

Since its founding in 2009, ArtPrize is known to award over $400,000 directly to artists through both popular and juried voting, in addition to the $200,000 in annual grants.
For the 2025 event, festivities begin Thursday, Sept. 18, and last through Saturday, Oct. 4. Various creations will be exhibited in galleries, storefronts, parks, museums, breweries, public spaces and more across Grand Rapids.
