As ‘SNL’ Returns, Pete Davidson Is ‘Living in the Woods’ After a Tough Year

Pete Davidson has turned to nature to help him deal with his problems.

According to The U.S. Sun, Davidson, 29, left the busy city life and started living “in the woods,” a lot like Reese Witherspoon’s character in the 2014 hit adventure-drama film.

A person also told the news outlet that Davidson “doesn’t do anything” outside of work. Davidson just got out of rehab for his mental health problems.

“He doesn’t do anything these days. He just hangs in his room and watches TV. He doesn’t come out much and doesn’t really do anything.”

The source also said that when the hermit is on tour and his sets are over, he “hightails it back to his hotel room for the night.”

Page Six said two days ago that the stand-up comic had a “hard week.” He or she returned to host the season 49 premiere of Saturday Night Live over the weekend.

According to the source, the King of Staten Island star has “thrown himself” into work to take his mind off of the current political situation. The actor has been open about losing his fireman father in the 9/11 attacks.

In fact, Davidson, this year has not been easy.

People say that Davidson’s then-girlfriend Chase Sui-Wonders was in the passenger seat of a car accident in the early summer and agreed to a plea deal for careless driving.

Davidson then went to rehab in June for regular “tune-ups” and “mental breaks,” with Wonders by his side. He had been labeled with BPD and PTSD when he was 23 years old.

People said in late August, though, that the co-stars of Bodies Bodies Bodies broke up.
