This is an excellent opportunity to work for a great station and company.Job Summary/Description:Maintaining on-air operations including repair and maintenance of all broadcast equipment (video, audio, and computer) at the studio, at remote sites, and in the engineering area.

Need to have the ability to prioritize tasks and switch gears quickly based on station needs. Signal and interference management. Account for on-air picture quality and performance.

Respond to day-to-day operations of an active news and production television station.Duties/responsibilities include, but are not limited to:- Evaluate options and execute solutions- Continuous training and supervision of station staff on systems and equipment- Create documentation for repairs and system upgrades- Operate certain technical equipment such as measurement, video/audio switching, satellite reception, and transmission equipment- Work cooperatively with other departments and cross-train to perform duties related to Technical Media Producers- Perform other tasks related to the position as assignedQualifications/Requirements:▪️ Must be knowledgeable in computer systems and IT networking.

Television engineers should have at least an Associate’s Degree in broadcasting technology or in engineering.

Engineers should be acquainted with current production software as well as microwave and satellite systems and Electronic New Gathering (ENG) operations. Passing a motor vehicle records check are condition of employment.

The right candidate will have strong interpersonal skills knowledge of the repair and adjustment of technical equipment, and experience with troubleshooting at the board level.
