Assistive Technology Firm Fails to Ax Worker’s Vaccine Bias Case


Tobii Dynavox LLC lost its bid for a pretrial win in a suit alleging it discriminated against a Catholic worker who was terminated for failure to comply with a Covid-19 vaccine mandate.

It’s unclear whether granting the fired worker’s religious accommodation request would have posed an undue burden for the assistive communication technology company, which contracts with the federal government and was subject to an executive order requiring vaccination, the US District Court for the Central District of California said Wednesday.
