**Responsibilities**The Audio-Visual Specialist will provide expertise in the design, production, implementation, and maintenance of video-based content that enhances and supports the transfer of learning for the client’s educational programs and organizations. The Audio-Visual Specialist will produce original ADA Section 508 compliant video content in support of the client’s educational programs. They will utilize their knowledge in the fields of video and audio production, graphic and 2D/3D motion graphics creation, captioning technologies (ADA Section 508 compliancy) to produce learning-centric media assets and training materials related to the development of instructional content, tools, and courses. Customer and client consulting skills, as they relate to video technologies, production process, and team capabilities and services, are required.The specialist will also support the operation and maintenance of the client’s studio spaces (sound booths, video studios, and video-enabled classrooms) to ensure proper operations and support. They will also manage media streaming applications provided by the client to deliver video solutions.**Required Qualifications**+ TS/SCI (with ability to obtain a CI poly).+ A Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience; OR, an Associate’s degree and 6+ years of experience.+ Minimum of two years of experience operating audio/visual recorders, sound mixers, microphones, television cameras, and related equipment in a formal academic or professional education and training environment.+ Experience with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Cloud including Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, Audition.+ Ability to lead project intake meetings to gather customer requirements.+ Ability to be a Self-starter with demonstrated customer support and collaboration expertise.+ Ability to multitask across multiple projects and clients in a Fast-paced and team-based environment.+ Ability to display a portfolio that showcases broad design and video expertise+ Experience in accomplishing multimedia products and services by using skills related to photography, audio/visual production (traditional and modern digital production techniques and equipment), visual information, illustration, computer operation, and telecommunication work.+ Experienced using a combination of authoring tools (e.g., Adobe suite), ability to take concepts gained through collaboration with SMEs, instructional designers, and other stakeholders to communicate concepts and ideas that inspire, inform, and captivate end users.**Desired Qualifications**+ Bachelors degree in in visual arts, media, information systems, or related area from an accredited (i.e., regional, national, or institutional) academic institution+ Professional experience in higher education or an adult learning institution.+ 5 or more years of experience in accomplishing multimedia products and services by using skills related to photography, audio/visual production (traditional and modern digital production techniques and equipment), visual information, illustration, computer operation, and telecommunication work.
