AUDUBON — Audubon City Clerk Joe Foran resigned a week ago, Mayor Barb Jacobsen said, effective the end of this year, adding that he said he was ready to move on.

Foran had been with the city about 10 years — since May of 2014.

A special meeting was held on Tuesday night, Nov. 21, so that the council could approve posting the position properly.

This isn’t the only position the city has open, Jacobsen said.

“We are also looking for a public works employee,” she said. The city is looking for a temporary part time employee. “We have someone on medical leave,” she said noting, with winter coming up the department would normally need extra help.
