AUDUBON – The Audubon Community School Board will hold it’s annual organization meeting on Monday, Nov. 20 and will consider approving sharing of a Superintendent with Exira-Elk Horn-Kimballton, pending approval of a contract.
The meeting will be held at the school boardroom starting at 7 p.m.
The retiring board will accept the canvass of votes from the county auditor and the annual settlement of accounts, and the board secretary, as president pro-tom, will administer the oath of office to newly elected board members, Mark Nissen, Anne Bomstad-Miller and Justin Sprague.
With current Superintendent Eric Trager retiring as of the end of this school year, the board was considering options to replace him, and Trager hoped his early announcement would make it easier to find a replacement.
