According to authorities, the body of Laurel Aldridge, 62, the sister-in-law of actor Mackenzie Crook, renowned for his performances on The Office and Pirates of the Caribbean, may have been discovered. Crook stated that it was “extremely out of character” for Aldridge to go missing on February 14. Charlie Wheeler, Aldridge’s son-in-law, stated, “She is currently getting chemo, and we’re concerned that she may be experiencing a mental health episode.” According to officials, her family has been alerted and will aid with identifying the remains.
