Baltimore County police are investigating a case of a stolen car that drove into an attached garage of a residential home, and several car break-ins at an apartment complex in Cockeysville.

The owner of a home at Bosley and Gateridge roads said she was woken out of her sleep at 3:30 a.m. on Wednesday by the sound of a car that crashed into her garage.

Several hours later, car owners at a complex on Lake Vista Circle discovered someone had broken into their vehicles.

Authorities recovered a stolen abandoned Hyundai that hit the home. They said there have been more than a dozen calls about auto thefts in Cockeysville.

It’s unclear if the incidents are connected.
