WILSON, N.C. — November 15, 2023 — Barton College is pleased to announce the opening of the Fall 2023 Senior Exhibition and the Annual Juried Exhibition, scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 30, in the Barton Art Galleries in Case Art Building. A reception will be held from 5-7 p.m. for both exhibitions.
Four seniors within the School of Arts and Humanities will have their work on view in the Barton Art Galleries through December 8. Those seniors representing the Mass Communications and Visual Arts programs include:
Katie Cossette of Knightdale plans to graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communications with a concentration in Public Relations.
Mitchell McKittrick of Apex plans to graduate with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a concentration in Graphic Design.
Kulisha R. Pittman of Zebulon plans to graduate with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a concentration in Graphic Design.
Nicholos Drake Weatherspoon of Zebulon plans to graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communications with a concentration in Journalism.
For the annual Juried Student Exhibition, Barton students are invited to enter a maximum of three pieces of art in any medium. The guest juror will judge each piece and select works for the exhibition.
Both events are open to the public at no charge, and the community is invited to attend.
The Barton Art Galleries, located inside Case Art Building on the campus of Barton College, is open Monday-Thursday from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m., and Friday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., or by appointment.

Barton Art Galleries requests visitors to make a reservation in advance of their planned visit. Individual and small group tours may be scheduled by reservation, and evening and weekend times may also be scheduled by request.
