Police officers have been photographed ushering a swan to safety, emulating a scene from comedy film Hot Fuzz.
Three officers were assisting the bird away from shoppers in Bath city centre, in an incident believed to have happened on Sunday.
People can be seen laughing and staring as police guide the swan towards the nearest river.
Avon and Somerset Police have been approached for comment.
The incident bears similarities to a plot line in Hot Fuzz, in which actor Simon Pegg, who grew up in Gloucestershire and studied at the University of Bristol, plays police officer Nicholas Angel.

The character, who had been used to a busy policing patch in London, is unamused when he is called to a report of a missing swan in sleepy fictional village of Sandford.
Fellow actor Nick Frost imitates the swan as the pair try to catch the bird, before a shop-keeper delivers the famous line from the film – “no luck catching them swans then?”.
The majority of the comedy was filmed in Wells, Somerset, just 19 miles (30km) away from Bath.
